What
to expect?
Full
medical history and informed consent
will be taken prior to this procedure
About 30 mins before commencing
treatment topical anaesthetic cream
is applied to the treatment area
to reduce sensation. When the area
is numb, the Dermaroller™
is passed across the treatment area
in many different directions.
The
device penetrates the dermis with
thousands of needle columns, stimulating
the skin’s natural repair
process. As the skin regenerates,
blood flow is increased, and new
collagen and skin cells are formed.
This increases the metabolic cellular
turnover of the skin, resulting
in brighter, firmer and more even
skin tone.
Immediately post treatment the skin
will temporarily appear red and
feel warm, resembling sun burn.
Chiroxy Cream will be applied to
the skin after treatment to aid
recovery, and you will be supplied
with home care sun protection cream.
As
early as one week after treatment
the skin will appear more youthful.
As more collagen is produced from
the stimulation the skin has received,
the skin will continue to improve
for up to three months, giving a
natural and long lasting enhancement.
It
is recommended that you have a course
of three Dermaroller™ treatments
spaced six weeks apart for optimal
results.
